Free Filmshows for Community Groups

Luton Movie Makers, a local amateur group, have produced many short films over the last few years and are now offering to show these to Luton Community Groups for free. Each Community Group can make a selection of Films to be shown at their own premises.

If you would like a free showing at your meeting place, or would be interested in other co-operative activities, let us know.

The Blockage (Comedy, 4 Min)
A Club Film about the last resort to unblock a sink.

Victim (Drama/Thriller, 24 Min)
The fears of an elderly man become reality - poses questions for us all about appropriate response.

Coast Road (Drama, 6 Min)
A back seat driver takes a scary coach ride along a coastal cliff edge.

Valentines Day (Animation, 5 Min)
A romantic novelist tries to take over the minds of everyone in the world. Trevor just wants to stuff a dog.

The Invaders (Science Fiction, 15 Min)
John Thomas, a freelance film maker is sent to film a nuclear protest but makes a chance encounter with aliens who are about to invade the World.

Hedgehog Hospital (Wildlife Documentary, 9 Min)
Describes the life saving activities of Caddington Hedgehog Hospital run by Mrs Angela.Smith at home.

Warriors of Hastings (Historical Drama, 18 Min)
Set in the year 1066, a tale of a Saxon family who get drawn into the conflicts of the time to preserve their very existence. Includes the battle of Hastings.

Panda Plonk (Comedy 4 Min)
Put movie makers and props in a room. Tell them to make a "film in an evening". With Scott Bailey, Paul Mitchamson [and the Panda Bear].

Autumn in Bedfordshire (Nature, 5 Min)
Look at the beautiful Bedfordshire countryside near Sharpenhoe Clappers, in the form of an "Audio Visual".

Sally Swallow Returns Home (Animation, 7 Min)
A story suitable for all the family, computer generated.

Luton Christmas Lights (Documentary, 9 Min)
The Luton Christmas Lighting Up celebration. A "video Christmas card" for relatives in China.

Tony's Tour of USA 1968 (Travelogue, 13 Min)
Film was converted and digitally enhanced from Tony Coutinho's original standard 8 cine film.
