Luton Movie Makers Newsletter 23 February 2009 Its another very busy week. * Results of Gillham and Manasseh Competitions These were won by Norwich Movie Makers with "A Bad Day at the Office" and Potters Bar CVS with "A Quiet Smoke" respectively. LMM films were unplaced. We did get some encouraging comments on them. * Double Triangle this Week LMM are involved in two triangle competitions this week, on Thursday and Friday:- Team "C" will be at home against Potters Bar, last years winners. This will be held in Studio 1 in the Hat Factory, on Thursday at 7.30pm. Team "A" will be away against Finchley Film Makers. Lifts to Finchley are available, so please ask. PLEASE COME. THEY ARE FREE. ALSO BRING A FRIEND. THESE ARE GOOD FUN. * Speaker from BFI at Cultural Network The CN meeting on Wednesday will be well worth attending because Eddie Berg from the BFI will be giving a talk. PLEASE COME. ITS FREE.
