SUMMARY

Snow-Decked trees in garden with a Poem by Paul

Snow Decked
By Paul Clarke

Look outside, look outside
Aerial invasion, quite an occasion
Like diamonds falling, in crystal formation
Tiny stars, from celestial reservoirs
No two alike, meet in flight
Socially make, an amorphous flake
From leaden sky they flurry by
Trillions came, to human acclaim
More and more, look in awe
Without fanfare, utterly silent
The unstoppable, gently settle
Cover, drape, smother, fleck
Layer, compress, carpet, deck
Spectacular sight, of purest white
Dazzling bright, in dullest light
Revealing visitors of the night
Weighed down now, the bending bow
Daffodil rude to protrude
A short time for peace on earth
