Overall this has been a successful year. In a short time the club has established itself on the Movie Making Scene.

We have received several grants that have helped our progress. The Sundon Park Community Trust continues to handle our financial matters and bank account. We have continued to benefit from the free use of rooms in the E-Learning Centre, together with free courses.

A Programme of events and activities was drawn up and meetings were held twice-weekly throughout the year. The main activities included:

• Club film shows and competition evenings;
• Public film shows for the local community
• Competitions; club, inter-club and regional
• Contributing to Film Festivals, Filmstock,
• Contributing 15 videos about Luton to Anglia TV's "The Way We Are" series.
• Producing scripts for short films and taking part in them,
• Attending workshops and courses about digital movie making and music making;
• Attending courses about script writing,
• Filming local events and maintaining a Local Film Library/Archive,
• Running workshops for beginners,
• Preparing to make a Special film on commission,
• Reviewing Camcorders and other film making equipment, etc.

In the IAC Regional "Triangle" Competition 2005, We submitted two teams with six films. Our Team "A" entries won the first round and was knocked out in the semi-final. The films, "Alfred the Great" and "Warriors of Hastings (short version)" by Scott Bailey together with "Tony's Tour of the USA, 1968" by Tony Coutinho were in our winning team. We hope to gain more success in this competition next year.

Again we entered a film in the Inter-Club Enfield Challenge Shield and had an enjoyable evening but did not win.

We put on two public film shows; "Warriors of Hastings" at the Library Theatre and "Town and Gown Short Films" at the Hat Factory (jointly with University Students). Both were well attended and appreciated.

We have ambitious plans and look forward to a busy year and hope to improve all round.
